National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2020

Important Dates:

Application Fee:

  • For General Candidates Rs. 100/-
  • For SC/ST candidates/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs: Exempted from fee.

Age Limit:

  • Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd January 2002, and not later than 1st January 2005 are eligible.

Educational Qualifications

  • For Army Wing of National Defence Academy:—12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
  • For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy:—12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2020

Important Dates:

  • Start date for Registration for Online Application: 10/06/2020.
  • Last date for registration for Online application: 30/06/2020.

Application Fee:

  • Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card or by using Internet Banking of SBI.

Age Limit:

  • A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2020 i.e he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1990 and not later than 1st August, 1999.
  • Age relaxation as per applicabe rule.

Vacancies:

  • The approximate number of vacancies to be filled through the Indian Statistical Service Examination is 47.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

  • A candidate for the Indian Statistical Service must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subject or
  • A Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or
  • Other Educational Institutes established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or
  • A Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time.
